I was baptized at age 8, but through spiritual neglect, really had no relationship with Christ until I was in high school. Then I got plugged into a great youth group and got mentored by the youth pastor. Christ became real!

I became a Christ Follower at age 12. Got involved with a thriving church and youth group. Made great friend through that period many of whom I am still in contact with. The relationships that most impacted my life for Christ were my natural family relationships. I come from a line of great spiritual leaders and role models.

I first became a Christian when I was in 6th grade. Since then, I have encountered many challenges on my path to maturity. These times have inspired a lot of ‘ah-ha' moments over the years. Two quotes that still encouraged me today: 'Life is change, growth is optional' and ‘Don’t allow your past to limit your future'.

I was born into a relationship with God through a praying grandmother and a foster mother who served God with everthing in her. I grew up in church but not knowing church. As a young adult I experienced the saving grace of accepting Jesus into my life and to this day have been sustained by His grace alone.
